PROJECT / CHALLENGE:

The purpose of this project was to create a more fluid shopping experience by visually organizing the content. In achieving this I made sure to really study the brands aesthetic, style, and color. This helped me really understand their design language and helped me develop what I believe to be a better layout for their website.

Hierarchy played a huge role. I wanted to feature their beautiful photography while also utilizing large headers to really grasp the users attention. Each photo is spaced out accordingly with enough breathing room for the small body text to pop.

In the mobile view, I had to reimagine the placement of the content and navigation icons. The navigation had to adhere to mobile view aspect ratio so the content links were placed into a hamburger menu, the search bar turned into an icon, and the shopping bag moved to the bottom right corner. For the shopping bag, I created an animation to show what the interaction would be like when a user adds a product to it. I wanted this to mimic the action of a real life shopping scenario.
